Kenneth Cole
My competed novel is Come Again Shiloh, a 91,000-word family saga with literary/upmarket ambitions. It tells the story of a 30-something couple in a troubled marriage who learn one summer that, when it comes to family, absolutely nothing is fair in love and war.
I have taught undergraduate writing, essay writing, feature article writing, and American literature and war literature and simultaneously edited a university magazine to high-level national recognition. Born in Ohio, reared there and in Pennsylvania, and educated in Indiana (BA) and New Jersey (M.Phil.), I use landscapes from each of those locations in the novel. I am already 30,000 words into a second novel set in northwestern New Jersey.
